Established in 1986 – Lakeside Banquet & Convention Centre has consolidated its position as the premier wedding, event, large and small conference venue in Melbourne’s North West. Well respected and noted throughout greater Melbourne the Galea family stems from humble beginnings whereby the patriarch Laurie bestowed his generous and witty nature coupled with good old-fashioned work ethic upon his extended family. We aim to make your event as special and personalised as absolutely possible. From personalised dinner menus, collection of centerpieces, round or square dining tables, tiffany chairs, white or black chair covers, we will make your occasion truly special.
Garden
Your garden ceremony will feel perfect when held in our picturesque garden, overlooking Taylors Lake. The gardens are the ideal location for family and bridal photography.

As a premier provider of functions and small conference venues in Melbourne, we can cater to events for all occasions. From weddings, birthdays, and anniversaries, to business and corporate events, we have the experience and expertise to create memorable moments for every occasion.
Honeymoon
We offer two premium honeymoon packages for our guests. Choose from either sun drenched luxury at the Diamond Sands in Queensland, the high rollin’ opulence at The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas.
Winter Bonus
In the months of June, July and August choose one of our three options:
1) Two white Mercedes (Convertible or Sedan) for 5.5hrs on your wedding day.
2) Seven nights’ accommodation at the Diamond Sands Resort Queensland and 1 White Mercedes (convertible or sedan) for 5.5 hrs.
